I am pretty interested in this game. Makes me think of what Chinatown Wars might have looked like if it were more like the post-GTA III titles (I still really enjoyed Chinatown Wars, though, despite the fact it uses a camera that's more like GTA 1 and 2).

I played this game and it's NOT a 3D GTA game, if you are waiting for a 3D GTA game you will be disappointed but if you are waiting for a Driver 2 on the DS, this is your game. If you never played Driver 2 on the PSX and GTA 3/Vice City was your first game (from this genre) you will think that this game is very simple. Just be careful with your expectations.
I wonder what Rockstar can do using this engine (or making a similar engine).

This game could have been much better.
idk, some things are whack...
but this is the coolest part
"Naturally, working for the good guys has some advantages, and Dan is able to summon police roadblocks during a heated chase, track goons with the city's surveillance system and even call upon a SWAT team to help out when storming an enemy hideout. Very cool stuff, it really gives C.O.P. its own unique appeal.
"
all those cop things are really neat additions to a familiar game style.

This. The game almost became a must-buy for me after I heard I could customize my SWAT outfit and tactics.

@60fps
Everytime you "fail" a mission it says "Game Over" and starts you at a hospital instead of GTA or Driver where you can retry the mission right away or choose to try again later.
It's really inconvenient and a stupid design choice.
And what classifies as failing a mission is often unclear.
I really hate chase/vehicle missions as they are the worst.
It doesnt help that the cars control like wet soap bars.
The on-foot/shooting missions arent bad after you realize your health regenerates.
I hate how you get absolutely no satisfaction from shooting people too.
I can hardly tell if I'm hitting the enemies.
And the enemies dont even have to be aiming at you or in a shooting position to hit you. You just constantly lose health while you are in their sight.

"It's really inconvenient and a stupid design choice."
I'm one that believes in proper punishment from careless playing. It makes the game more intense.

That's pretty impressive considering GTA is a laggy mess.
