If it weren't for the old lady, her family and the serene Japanese housing, that there device would have looked like something someone would use to rob a bank. Thing is huge and its glorious.

i wish the NA version would have kept the DSi LL name. DSi XL sounds stupid.

And considering the price tag in Japan for this, the family didn't get a Wii because?

@jjwet35

You kidding? It's the exact opposite. LL doesn't make sense, XL makes perfect sense.

Really guys? You skipped out on the DSi because you were afraid it would be phazed out/didn't think it was worth the money and now you want the DSiLL?

It costs more than a DSi in Japan, its going to cost more than the DSi in US.

The DSi is 170 dollars and the Wii is 200 dollars.

I am going to be ~PISSED~ if the DSi gets a price drop just to accommodate the DSiLL at $180~. That's not cool, you don't ********** do that to consumers within less than a year.

The Nintendo DSi LL/XL information trailer gives an impression on what it is intended for. The people that were appeared in the trailer is what Nintendo want to appeal to, especially older people. I really want to see for myself how large is the DSi XL, but will have to wait until the first quarter of next year to find out.

@MidnightScott

Nah, I think they will, because these are aimed for older people right? So these are..I don't know..mature colours? I doubt a grandmother would want turquoise or lime green..xD

@Blk_Mage_Ctype

it was just a joke he made and it was obviously referring to the old lady having bad eye sight like most elderly people.

So he is saying even though the screen is bigger she still can't see.

@MrBubbles: You should have waited then. That's the advantage of patience. I haven't upgraded at all, I still have the DS original from 2005. I actually like the look of the DSiXL and might consider buying one... that is if the price is decent. The DSi is $300 in Australia, which is like $270 american dollars, and there's no way I'd pay that much.
