Ubisoft chairman Yves Guillemot recently touched on a number of topics, two of which you guys might be interested in.

First up, Mr. Guillemot has said that Ubisoft is working on a number of projects, and they'll be handling some genres that they don't usually go after. Specifically called out were fighting, music, RPGs and sports games.

Second, Mr. Guillemot seemed very interested in the upcoming Prince of Persia film, stating that it "will show what a video game property can do in the (movie) industry... What we hear is that it could maybe be stronger than Pirates (of the Caribbean) which did 2.7 billion dollars worldwide."

First of all, Prince of Persia isn't a big enough franchise to get people into theaters just because they're fans of the series. Second of all, they based the look off the the least liked of the PoP games. Third, the movie just looks bad, and unless there is a Johnny Depp show-steal performance in this movie, I doubt word of mouth is going to change people's minds.
