The frozen image of this video was enough to make me not want to watch it.

But was also enough to make me click on the comment section so I could let people online know that I chose not to watch it.

Ah this was at Anime Weekend Atlanta. I've never been there myself but I'd like to (it's the closest anime con I could ever go to :P ). I say that because at first I thought this was a furry convention. XD (I actually read the descriptions in YT videos.)

Suddenly I'm reminded of the song "Geeks in Love" lol (I don't mean that in a disrespectful way either since I'm a geek myself :P ).

@MoldyClay

Any reason why? Is it because of the extreme geekiness of the situation?

@Eternal Rain

Not particularly. I think it's just the fact that looking at them, or more specifically, the girl, I see the face of someone who has nothing to show for their lives except their collection of locks of hair from Sephiroth cosplayers.

That's what I see, and I know so many real life girls like that, that I can't bare to subject myself to see one on YouTube, wearing the worst outfit ever (except the hat, which I love) and a guy in an equally terrible outfit.

Or perhaps the real reason, is that small Chimchar plush.

If there is one Pokemon I hate with a passion, next to Meditite's line, and Electrike's line, it would have to be Chimchar and his line.
My god. Screw you, Chimchar.

"Expect a Pichu within a year." - LOL

That whole thing was pretty funny, but still somehow sweet.

Idea just popped into my head: If he's a Raichu (which is essentially a grown up Pikachu + thunderstone), does this make him a pedofile? :P

Seeing videos like this makes me imagine the shame their children would feel if/when they eventually find the video accidentally on the internet.

I understand wanting to make a memorable event out of proposing marriage, but one should think twice before doing so while cosplaying on camera.

@MoldyClay

This was sweet and they look like they'll have a happy life together.

Whoa! Leave chimchar and his evolutionary line out of this. If you want to hate a pokemon, hate dunsparce (lol).

I mean isnt your judgement on them abit harsh? You've only really seen one clip of them and they could have other things they like to do and even if pokemon is their passion I still think thats an unreasonable amount of critique. You just said you hate about nine pokemon and obviously if you do hate them you must know of them. Which means you like pokemon, i like pokemon and so do they. What would people say there? Also you said you favored her hat... Just let them be. They look like they love each other and do care for each other. Just let them be.

@Orca

Pokemon will most likely still be out and it will be told as a little story to their young. Because most likely they will like pokemon also. Isnt almost every kid squeamish about how mom met dad? They'll be immersed in pokemon and it probably be the norm.
