Damn...those homebrewers are ridiculously fast...

Direct link here

Homebrewers have made all sorts of new aspects for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and now they're already going at New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Perhaps someone could hack Wart into the game! Thanks to Tsampiras for the heads up!

Hate to say it but i'm ridiculously tired of 1-1 from Super Mario Bros.

After you see it for the thousandth time it starts to lose its significance.

@chicken fangas

Agreed. I feel the same way about the Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda theme. At first you love the songs to death, but after awhile you realize that of all the songs in the series, they're no where near the best that the games' have to offer.

It's even possible to edit all the level data on the disk.
They're seperated and rather easy to look up and play around.

I'm sure there will be plenty of custom levels around someday~
Maybe even a small editor.

There is some inaccuracy in there, plainly obvious.

@hattrick

I believe it is being played through Dolphin, a Wii/GC emulator.

Oh! I can't wait until there's more progressions in these hacks! I'm interested in what could be made.

Edit:

@alfredofroylan

Damn, so fast. Can't wait for custom levels of doom to come out!

This was made with Reggie!, as seen here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=191279

Screenshots are in the thread of the editor. I'm a beta tester for it, and have put this teaser together for my COMING SOON™ hack. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b353/ ... 1Nov12.png

Hooray, they remade 1-1.

Remake SMW, and we'll talk.

Inaccuracy errors! The first mushroom's in the left ?-block, not the top one, and there was only one coin block with the last four bricks, where it went Brick, Brick, ?-Block, Brick. And 500 seconds? /rant

The Editor does really look nice.
I'm really looking forward to some nice custom levels then.

I like how they managed to completely strip the background of any and all personality.

Wait, no, that's not it... what's the word I'm looking for?

Oh, right: hate. I hate that they did that. Why would they do that, especially when it leaves these big, gaping voids that really show that they did?

It is MANDATORY that anytime a game editor exists, 1-1 must be remade with it. Glad to see that it has come to be so quickly.

And it's funny how there's so much criticism ("wah wah, the background"), when the big picture is WE CAN MAKE OUR OWN LEVELS.

Yeah, it's like doing a "Hello world!" program with a new programming language haha.

Well... this goes to show that a level editor COULD be possible :\ aww man, Nintendo...

@MistaSmegheneghan

Actually in the PAL version of Mario the mushroom is on the Top block.
and all the other stuff is where it is suppose to be.
So i believe that whoever made this only played the PAL version.
