Talk about taking things too far...
Yes, a man actually married his LovePlus girlfriend, having tied the knot at a church in Guam. This man is going to be holding a wedding reception on Nov. 22nd in Japan, with invites already out to various members of the press. He'll be displaying pictures of the courtship, leading all the way up to the ceremony. Thanks to Dan for the heads up!

Clearly missing some friends then...
It's creepy anyway. ><
I'm really mad people is taking that stupid game too far... because of people like him society always thinks us the worst there is...
Your boyfriend thinks marriage is wrong and immoral? What?
I think he's gay.
Luckily, natural selection takes hold and there will be no offspring.
they got a lot bunch of money
ask them if they care about this
@rupee
last time i saw, there are quite a few bunch of otaku who wont be breeding.
natural selection at its best!!!!
Try moving to Guam.
If they'll accept marrying a Video Game, I'd guess gay marriage is cool with them.
Bentendo is correct. Well, bisexual, but currently serious with my current boyfriend.

This is an entirely new low. I hope he has that DS Rumble Pak come honeymoon. He's going to need it.
EDIT: Yes, I know what the original sign said and what I have linked is Photoshopped. I found this one on purpose because it goes well with the story.
I don't get it. Why are bisexual people into both genders? You can't just pick one and stick with it?
@AlexPuma, I'm very sorry, but that's really depressing. You should be able to marry someone who is a real person if you love them!
It's called photoshop.
But the thing is, this isn't even a video game. It's a dating simulator for geeks.
Um, I could think of a couple ways.
It is? @_@
Mind=Blown
Yes, I know. That's why I posted it. I know what the original one said. I just found that under the "Iwata Drop the Bomb" images on Google and thought it would fit better with the subject.
'this site was about Nintendo'
it only is when it is, boi!
Usually, someone only reading the comments would think this was the anti-nintendo site lol
Also sickened.
That's not real. The original one said "IWATA DROP THE BOMB" and it was E3.
EDIT: PIIICCKKKKLES
Double EDIT: Don't wanna get banned (even though I've been here since before day one!). So changed it. HAHA.
In layman's terms: they are all publicity stunts.
What I can't believe is that it is legal in Guam to marry a fake person? I wonder if you can marry yourself there... hmmm....
Um.
How...
...
What?
Guy(voicing his new "wife"): "Let me go slip into something more comfortable. Teehee"
*guy then takes off the Hori clear hard case off his DS and puts on the Silicone case*
That sounds a little fake to be if he's gonna do something like that. I'm sure a lot of this love plus stuff is just for publicity.
And then I realized what this was.
And I raged.
And I still want him to stop posting it, but for different reasons now.
Actually it was GDC 2005.
Oh God, I need some brain bleach. NOW!
And uhm, I can't believe we all called it... but on the wrong country!
Never knew they would go this far. Oh well, I still want a copy of this game.
Guam?
Guam.
No, not because it's immoral and wrong, but because nature didn't intend it. Before you roll your eyes, hear me out: why would evolution dictate that man and woman have separate sex organs if it wasn't for the purpose of mating? Where do you think the idea of marriage stems from? We're no different than animals, and most animals find a mate to screw for the rest of their lives so that they can reproduce. I love it how gay people blame everyone for being close-minded (religion is the usual target) for not accepting them as they are when the lifestyle that they chose is by all means *not natural*, and I don't mean in a God-intended way I mean if nature had intended men and men and women and women to be mates for life then we'd all have two sex organs! I'd like to have heard what Darwin thought of homosexuality and how "normal" it is.
No offense, that's just my two cents. I actually have a few friends who are gay, but at least they don't whine about not being accepted or not being able to marry or whatever.
Oh my mistakes. '~'
@tendoboy1984
Because they're bisexual? I'm bisexual myself, I just like both genders.
