Well, I was afraid this was going to happen. I was really pulling for Prince of Persia on the Wii. I was hoping that Ubisoft would go all out and give us an exclusive new chapter in the series. I would have even taken a side story! Well that is not the case. According to the latest issue of Nintendo Power, the Wii version of Prince of Persia is nothing more than a remake of The Two Thrones, but with Wii controls added in.

I am sure there will be other additions/revisions as well, but the major selling point are the Wii controls. You can expect moves like the Dagger Plant, Speed Kill, Daggertail, and Free-Form Fighting to all incorporate Wii controls in unique ways. Don't get me wrong, The Two Thrones is an excellent game...I am just not interested in a Wii controlled remake this soon after the first release. Am I being too harsh on this? If you are excited for the title, please let me know.
