Awesome! Intelligent are brilliant, Can Shooter in WarioWare was fun enough but this will be well worth the points.

So it's an eco friendly lightgun shooter for Wiiware? Since it's 1000 points you know I'm getting it.

Oh yeah, and is "GE" supposed to stand for "green energy?"

WiiWare on-rail shooter developed by Nintendo = guaranteed quality :D

And it looks great too

@WiiFolder

What? You wanted a zombie shooter developed by Nintendo?

And I thought you had played Warioware

Is this Nintendo's way of telling people their green even though they have the least green console on the market?

@dinofan01

How is the Wii the least green console?
- It consumes far less energy than a PS3 and Xbox 360.

- It outputs less heat than an Xbox 360 and PS3.

@dinofan01

You know that isn't correct, lol. Greenpeace only considers the Wii the least green console because Nintendo never sends them anything to "analyse". Therefore, they're automatically last place.

Yeah, it's stupid.

well, doesn't immediately strike me as very novel or deep or fun, but this is Intelligent Systems, and they kick serious ass all day long

I was hoping there would be more lightgun style games on wiiware. The fact it's a Intelligent Systems production makes it that much sweeter.

On the topic of lightgun style games/guided FPS, we don't have any more upcoming games that we know of. :( Cavia just finished RE:DC. Hopefully the Overkill devs announce something in the near future.

When is Zombie Panic in Wonderland coming out. Because this...

Taking a break from zombies is nice. My main concern though is you can't pull head shots off with cans. Hopefully the game can incorporate something similar for those of us who like trick shots.

@NeroSuferoth

....you want a game where you shoot your dentist?

Intelligent Systems, known for making hardcore Metroid games and the Paper Mario series, is making a casual shovelware game? What has the world become?

Just kidding.

Seriously though...

With a name like "Intelligent Systems", it has to be good. (Yes I copied that from the old Smucker's commercials.)

Cool. It's about time Nintendo gets their good developers to make something for wiiware.

Ha, someone actually remembered Hogan's Alley on here. The cans did remind me of it. I'm not buying this, though. Looks boring.

I know that it's Intelligent Systems, but this is really underwhelming. I hope that I'm wrong and that this game doesn't tarnish Intelligent Systems' perfect record of not a single bad game.

Anyone taking pop-shots are environmentalism or "eco-friendly" ideas, is a f***ing idiot, plain and simple. Just saying.

And dude, this totally takes me back to those early 90s "eco-friendly" games, like Global Gladiators and Awesome Possum on Genesis.

Making games that teach kids in a fun way that recycling and taking care of our planet is a GOOD thing = awesome.

And Captain Planet still rocks.

@schopaia

It's about time Nintendo started putting out more stuff on WiiWare period.

I'm still waiting for some nice "retro" (I.E. doesn't have to be in sh**ty 3D, ala Adventure Island: The Beginning), updates to like Balloon Fight, Ice Climbers, Duck Hunt, Star Tropics, the original Donkey Kong, etc....

But hey, they DID just put out Excitebike, so there is hope yet.

Didn't we shoot at cans already in Wii Play? Either way, whatever I guess... It reminds me of an FPS Sin and Punishment but with evil cans. Since Nintendo is recycling Wii Play concepts already, please make a WiiWare Tanks! from Wii Play with a crap load of features and challenges.

One of the best things to play on the Wii and the only minigame that made Wii Play worth it! I would rather have that than this.

It's like what I said the other day: Some of these people are too picky for their own good about games yet don't realize a lot of what they actually like IS crap.
