Wow Demo Domination the f*** demos did better than the actual games. Though I am not sure why they are counting the demos as they are not actual Wiiware titles. I am not sure rather to laugh or be sad. Why is Excitebike still in the top 20 VC when the remake is out and better than the original in every possible way.

@mariomaniac45213

Its just the fact that they were downloaded a lot this week, and they are counted toward this listing.

To be honest, I expected this to happen. :)

Of course the demo did better than the whole thing. Why pay for the whole thing before downloading the free demo and making sure you want it?

I played the demos for the three games I don't already own (I own NyxQuest and World of Goo). The demos are a great idea, the demo for Bit.Trip Beat has convinced me to finally want to download it. I can't do it right now since I don't have any Points but once I do Beat is something I'm getting.

Pokemon Rumble is an interesting game, but I do get the feeling only hardcore Pokemon fans and young kids will like it. It's got a nice amount of Pokemon, but it may be too simplistic for some older gamers. I'd get it if it were cheaper, but $15 is just a bit too much for a game like that (I could use those points to download "Zombies Ate My Neighbors!" or "Indiana Jones" instead).

And lastly My Life as a Darklord. It's actually a pretty good tower defense game, so I think I'll download it sometime in the future. The demo gave me a good idea about how quickly the challenge ramps up. The first tower is really easy since you're only worrying about small time clavats that are easy to kill, but the third tower showed me I need to plan stuff better because those Black Mages and Chime really got me.

Anyway yeah, the demos are cool and I hope they release more in the future so that way my decision making for purchases will be easier.

Can someone explain why Pokemon Rumble is so great? I downed the demo and I don't get it. I'm surprised people bought that game to be honest, what is the attraction? Not mocking the game just wondering or I missed something.

The demo for NyxQuest finally got me to purchase the game the other day. Am lovin' it! Just got this super awesome power... :-P

Did the PR and WoG demos get put up for Europe yet? There was an article yesterday you see, stating they were out here [as of yesterday], but they didn't...

Is there a Lumiloop DSiWare? I think that was my favorite.

Demos are going to take the place of actual game now.. missleading.

fantastic! the demos are kicking ass. That's step 1. If Nintendo sees positive conversion numbers (demo downloaders who become game purchasers, which they can track) then demos will undoubtedly become a regular fixture on Wiiware, and on nintendo platforms to come.

Why isn't BitTRIP. BEAT on the top 20?

@60fps

For me, Pokemon Rumble holds allusion to PSO. It's a run-around RPG smash-em-up that uses a ever dangling carrot to entice players to play on in order to unlock new moves, new pokemon, new skills, and harder levels. I've sunk in at least 5 hours into it, and still have to beat the third difficulty level.

I think demos need their own chart.
