We've all been playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii, right? Have you been checking out the multiplayer features? If so, how has that been working out for you? Are you playing with a bunch of gamers that actually work together, or do you have friends that would rather carry you over to a hole, and then toss you to your demise? I'm guessing there's a lot more gamers that are embracing their mean streak.

Uh...I'm not playing New Super Mario Bros. Sadly, I don't have a Wii. BTW, I just joined Gonintendo. Was an avid reader for a long time so I decided to join.

First hearing of the multiplayer aspects, I was hellbent on being the jerk of the group - seemed like that'd be the most fun beforehand. But as soon as we started playing, I couldn't do it - it was actually a lot of fun working together, searching high and low for Star Coins, and using the Bubble Trick so that only one of us would take the more risky parts of the game at a time. Teamwork has never been so much fun!

Found it a lot more enjoyable to play with my nieces and nephews, as they actually didn't take it too seriously. Some of my friends on the other hand took it way too seriously and basically killed any fun to be had with it. To them it was more a competition (which I don't get) than a game where you can either work together or just have fun sabotaging the others.

Also, it's a whole other story playing two players as opposed to three or four. With two players, the natural inclination of play was that of co-op. Playing with my girl, we just played through helping each other, rarely did we ever try to kill each other. With three or four, it was more a party-like atmosphere where it was more a free-for-all and chaos reigned.

I've been having a blast. My older sister apparently hates it when anyone touches her but her husband and I managed some nice teamwork. Me and my older brother also had a lot of great teamwork moments. He's a little mean though, often throwing shells and frozen enemies at me and then laughing hysterically when he realizes he actually killed me x_x.

My only problem is that the bosses seem a little too easy. My brother usually just stays practically on top of them and jumps on them as soon as possible. He beat the first Bowser Jr. boss battle in about 10 seconds. I didn't even get to see how he fought...

its fun when someone thats not you falls into a hole and you by reflex (that start+select reflex) press the A button for bubble, and the people who was falling press the A button too and the level ends with both into bubbles...

Im having a lot of fun.

Sometimes you just can't help it. You're not really paying attention to what other people are doing and you accidentally shove them into trouble, or grab a powerup they want, or hit them with a barrel. Then when you do pay more attention to what they're doing, you tend not to see what's happening to yourself.

Though when I play with people who bubble up too often, sometimes I'll try to pop them in danger's way.
