A portion of a Floatzel review...
All in all, the movie is a very enjoyable experience for anyone who enjoyed previous Pokémon films. It is a must-see for Pokémon fans and anyone who has seen The Rise of Dakrai and Giratina and the Sky Warrior.
Story Feedback
I don't pay attention to the show, but the movies manage to be interesting.
Yes, and the movies have a distinct tendency to be really good.
As for Arceus, I definitely liked it quite a bit, especially since the entire backstory seemed like it would fit in perfectly with Roman mythology. My only problem was the *SPOILERS* massive time paradox that the people in charge of plot manage to practically EXPLAIN why it is a paradox... oh well, the rest was good.
I personally was miffed that they sidestepped the Origin Myth [making Arceus a world-maker, not the creator of the Universe...]
Still, it was an awesome movie, even if it did take me to halfway through to like and appreciate Arceus' voice.
