Red Steel 2 is the only Wii first person shooter that people are looking forward to. I honestly can't think of any others that are hitting the Wii that have people interested. Am I forgetting something?

@JulianCJ

That's what I was thinking, but I guess we don't know if it'll be in 2010 for sure yet. Besides, many believe that HVS has lost its credibility, but I don't think one game proves whether a dev is good or not (not saying that The Conduit is bad by any means, but many seem to think so), and I'm pretty sure that they'll eventually get into the swing of things.

Of course, but The Conduit was their real first try to make a good, original game on Wii. They also make tons of licensed products, but I'm sure they didn't put in as much work on them as they did on The Conduit and as they're sure to put into The Grinder and Gladiator A.D.

lol Yeah, I like how they don't even mention The Grinder at all. Especially considering how popular Left 4 Dead is, and how The Grinder is basically going to be a L4D type of game, 4-player online co-op, fighting zombines, vampires, werewolves, etc. etc...

I think The Conduit was a very good game. Great graphics, perfect controls, nice soundtrack. My only real complaint was that the single player campaign didn't really GRIP me. I kind of got bored of it. There were a LOT of things to love about it, the level of detail, a fairly interesting story, little touches like the radios all over the place where you could listen to extensive clips of that conspiracy guy talk. Things like that were awesome. But somehow, the total package kind of got old. I think I might have just liked it better if they'd done away with SO much "find the hidden thing in the wall" type of missions in every level. I know they were going for a unique approach, but I don't really need "unique". I need fun. Serious Sam is fun, because you just run through levels blasting things. I don't know about you, but when I bother playing an FPS at all, that's all I really want to do, is go from point A to point B, blasting the s**t out of everything. So if Conduit had been more like that, I think I would have had a better time.

But the online was fantastic, and I still think it's a very well crafted game. And I also think that High Voltage is obviously going to read fan feedback, things like that, and improve the few issues The Conduit did have, to make The Grinder better. Keep in mind, The Conduit WAS pretty much their first totally original property. Keeping that in mind, it was actually pretty impressive what they accomplished. And the game has sold over 300k, and counting. I'd say that's turning into a modest success.

I think The Grinder and Red Steel 2 could actually wind up being two really great exclusives for Wii.

Because of the controls I'm only interested on FPS-games that are coming to Wii, but sadly not that many are coming for it.

I'm actually expecting good things from Treyarch's next CoD.
