I just wanted to post a little something about this quick because I can't seem to find any news that RMC hasn't already covered. I started coming across everyone's Black Friday Deals and got to thinking. For approx. $50.00 I could own Dead Space: Extraction and A Boy and His Blob. That's 2 games for the price of one! I'm starting to seriously consider it. Does anyone have a particular deal that really appeals to them, or any advice for me and my thoughts?
P.S. Please send me any tips that you may find.... I'm having a devil of a time over here. Apparently everyone is "off for Thanksgiving!" Humbug!

I beat Dead Space a couple weeks ago and I've got one "world" left in A Boy and His Blob. I got sidetracked by Mario, but I'll get back to it soon.
You should post them on Deux's Views. That site needs some lovin'.
In the US, Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving which officially kicks off the holiday sales period in full with insane deals. It's called "Black Friday" because most stores end up "in the black" that day since most of the US does majority of its big item Christmas shopping that day.
And it's insane. Usually one must get to stores to line up for early 5am openings and most of the biggest sales only last for 4-5hours. It's consumerism fueled pandemonium as sometimes people are actually injured or killed (thankfully that's rare) while people storm the stores and fight over items.
P.S. Apparently my explanation for the name "Black Friday" isn't the original, though it's the one most commonly used now. Originally it was because of traffic? I learned something today! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Frid ... _Friday.22

Interesting, I guess you must get some good bargains. We only have the post-christmas sales which start in Jan, and then the End of financial year sales, which start around the end of june/ july (when the financial year ends).
