Company founders and creators of FriiBoard™, Gail and Tom Stewart wanted to create products that make the gaming experience more real and more fun for players of all ages. "We wanted to go beyond the simply aesthetic Wii™ accessories on the market. We saw great new games being developed for the Balance Board™ interface offering players very realistic graphics and action but the Balance Board™ control surface just wasn’t delivering everything the players deserved in a “reality game”. What was lacking was realistic sport-specific ‘movement’ off the screen to go with the action on the screen. We developed FriiBoard™ to bring the realistic movement of your favorite sports indoors to your favorite Wii™ games."

It's been a long and sometimes seemingly overwhelming process getting from Tom's idea to the finished patent pending product being sold today on their eCommerce site www.swiitgamegear.com, but the couple has persevered, and truly enjoyed their journey to offer the American gamer a cool new Wii™ accessory like no other, conceived of American ingenuity, and manufactured right here in the heartland of America.

FriiBoard has been tested and demonstrated by individuals and groups, most recently at Summit BoardShop in Lake Elmo, MN where it met with rave reviews from everyday snowboarders and skateboarders to a nationally recognized freeskier.

Sales have been brisk in anticipation of the fast-approaching December ship date to meet Christmas demand. The couple expects to sell out their current inventory by December 10th.
