Does the mini-boss music from Minish Cap sound familiar? If you live in North America or Europe, it probably doesn't. For those that live in Japan, they should recognize the tune pretty easily. It turns out that this song was from the Japanese version of Zelda II!

Ah, interesting. Why did they change the music for the international release? I know a few sound bites got removed from bosses (a constant "roar" noise that, honestly, becomes annoying), but I didn't know music was altered.

I've known this for YEARS.

You know you can also hear the music on the Zelda 2 themed microgame on Wario Ware Touched right?

This song (or a remix/variation on it) is also in A Link to the Past in the first dungeon when you fight those 8 bouncing statues, if memory serves.

I've definitely heard this music before.
