Square-Enix has registered the name Dawn of Mana with the American patent office today. The title, which closely resembles Children of Mana, could actually end up being the US name of the game. This title could also mean a brand new game that has nothing to do with Children of Mana, and may not even end up being a title on a Nintendo console. We will have to keep our fingers crossed that this new name is finally some movement by Square-Enix to bring Children of Mana stateside.
