Reader Jet Pilot sent an email to let me know about a little tidbit from IGN's Wii-k in Review podcast that was left out of the summary last night. Apparently, somewhere around the 33 minute mark Casamassina and Bozon discuss the large file sizes of Neo Geo VC games. This lead the pair to believe that Nintendo would be unveiling a Wii hard drive sometime soon. This fits perfectly with the Jeux-France rumor we posted that discussed the possibility of Nintendo announcing big hardware news at the upcoming E3.

I've definitely been thinking about a hard drive for the Wii. I would love to have one, seeing that I am currently juggling VC titles on SD cards. Factor in new downloadable games with undetermined file sizes, and you could be talking a lot of space.
