IGN has posted about 2 minutes of new footage from the Twilight Princess fishing demo seen at E3, though this time with some near-direct-feed-quality goodness. Sure, it's not the 6 minute adventure we took you on, nor does the player catch themselves the elusive "Hurley Bass", but at least you can hear some of the "battle music" bolero when Link snags himself a fish on the line. Also of note on the "direct feed" parts is the hazy, blown out lighting on some surfaces.. slightly reminiscent of the Lord of the Rings films lighting technique; and finally, if you look even closer--especially on the HD versions (if you're an Insider subscriber) you can see some of the impressive detail this game has received, particularly in the physics of the water as the player reels in the lure... the trail behind it, including the disrupted waves and tiny bubbles which look realistic enough to me!
