Sega fans are very familiar with the Phantasy Star series. I can hardly believe it's been around for 20 years! It only took almost all that time for Nintendo fans to have a chance at the series on one of their platforms. Phantasy Star Collection hit the GBA not too far back, but it didn't come with all the games in the series. Still though, we got to try the bulk of the titles. 1up has paid tribute to the influential series with a look back on each entry, and taking into account the high a low points that they featured.
