ENDOFDAYTHOUGHTS

Less than a week away from E3...I can't believe it. I am getting nervous, of course. I hate flying, and I never like to go on trips alone! It's alright though, I know I will have a blast while I'm out there. A blast...surrounded by mountains of work! All the written impressions my little fingers can type, pictures I can snap, and anything else that comes my way! I shouldn't get all psyched-out just yet, I have to make it through this week first!

I am off to bed, gang. I'll see you in a few hours. Here's to a wonderful Tuesday, from start to finish!

GoNintendo readers have been enjoying the work of comic artist Daniel for over 22 weeks now. His style is one that I really enjoy, his humor ranges from chuckles to gut-busters, and his dedication is unquestioned. Your reaction to his work thus far is pretty much what I expect. Some love Daniel's comics, some hate them, and others change on a week-by-week basis. Every strip that is posted usually gets you guys chatting away, but his latest entry in the series really stirred up some conversation.

There is something about Nintendo Get! #22...it has a very different feeling when compared to Daniel's previous work. I can tell you that personally, it gives me a very heartwarming feeling...that's the best I can do to describe it. It has its bits of humor, but the overall tone is a very soft and engulfing one. As usual, the comments followed, and some people seemed to be getting the same vibes that I did. One reader in particular took those feelings, and amplified them.

GoNintendo reader Jesse took the comic strip, did a little bit of editing, tied it to some Tales of Symphonia music...and the results are fantastic. The video really takes all the feelings I had, and makes them that much stronger. I can't help but finish watching this video with a big smile, and a soothing sigh. I wanted to make sure that I shared the video with all of you.

Well, what do you think? Did this animation really bring out the emotions you were feeling from the comic, or do you still not care for this particular strip? Thanks to Jesse and Daniel for their work!

Just one more great story to come out of GoNintendo, and its readers/listeners. I've recently had a flood of emails from you guys, all filled with some of the nicest sentiments I've ever heard. Trust me guys, I've said it a million times. It's absolutely my pleasure to work on GoNintendo, all thanks to the community that you've built. Don't worry, you're saved from the paragraphs of schmaltz for today!
