July 8, 2008 by The News Team Filed Under: Wii, Nintendo in general

We all know how hard it is to find a Wii. We are waaaaaaaaaay after launch, and I still haven't seen a Wii sitting on store shelves. I'm amazed that things are still this way. I check my local Target everytime I'm in the store, just to see if a Wii will be sitting there.

Perhaps the problem is, Nintendo is just taking too long getting Wiis shipped out from the factory, and into retailers' hands. According to some detective work, it looks like Wiis take roughly 14 weeks to go from being built to resting at your local retailer. That is a pretty slow turnaround, if you ask me. Isn't there any way at all that Nintendo could speed up that process? Thanks to Mauricio for the heads up.
