The middle of the week, and E3 creeps closer. I can feel it breathing down my neck! I best go to sleep before all that work gets the best of me! I will see you guys in a few hours. Please, make sure to check our Top Stories feature on the sidebar. Some great content popped up last night, and I've linked to the best of it under that category. Remember, the Top Stories feature doesn't show all the news that ran during the night, just some of the highlights. I hope that keeps you busy while I get some rest! Hope you had a great night's sleep.

If you spend your time at various gaming sites, you are probably inundated with E3 talk. No matter where you turn, you can't get away from it. From fanboy to journalist, gamer to analyst, all the talk is about the year's biggest show. E3 may not be the grand show it used to be, but the info still comes pouring out. That's what we really care about, isn't it? I am both excited and sick over the thought of all that news. As a gamer, I can't wait to see what everyone has in-store. As a blogger, I am dreading the flood of information that will need to be covered! Without a doubt, E3 has to be the most insane week for every gamer, no matter where you live.
E3 has been the focal point of the industry for years now. We all look forward to other gaming events, but we always keep track of E3. With each day that passes, we are one step closer to the expo of all expos. The more into gaming you are, the more time you need to prepare yourself. At least nowadays, it's easier to get the E3 scoops. We live in a world of online news, which allows us information from E3 in the blink of an eye. Remember the days when we had to wait for magazines to dish out the info?! I'm sure that someone of you weren't even around for those days. Trust me, you didn't miss a thing!
So...E3 is almost here, and you are gearing up...probably to the point where you'll end up disappointed. It's okay, we all do it from time to time! That's not the point of this article, though. I want to touch on just what you guys do to get ready for the big show. How important is following E3 news to you? I know that there are plenty of our readers that have a very strict routine all setup. Schedules of conference times, expected information, sites/boards to visit for news, and so on. I want to hear about the routine you've followed/kept over the years.
Back before I started teh site, I would pretty much do the same thing I do now...just with a more relaxed approach. I'd make sure to wake up for any/all conferences, hop over to IGN for coverage, and hope that there was a live-stream. Once live-streams could be depended on, I would hook up my PC to the TV, pull up the couch, invite some friends over, and we'd all watch Nintendo's media briefing. I can't tell you how many times our jaws dropped...sometimes for good, and sometimes for bad. Getting in on E3 in that fashion was a blast, and I actually miss part of that. Actually attending E3 is a dream-come-true. It is my hope that in some small way, GoNintendo fits into your coverage plans. I know that I can't deliver the biggest/best info out there, but I can promise that I will be as up-to-date as possible. I also guarantee hands-on impressions with every title I play, recaps/live-blogs for any media briefings I have been invited to, pictures of whatever I can snap, and some other goodies I will share with you later.
Enough from me, more from you! Let's hear how you plan to tackle E3 2008 from your PC. Is there anything that you do every year, without fail? Does just waiting for E3 get you anxious/nervous? What are you expecting out of this year's show? Whatever you have, lay it on us.
