Hey everyone, cortjezter here again. You're all probably thinking that my popping in with stuff is getting to be a bad habit, and with the rather trivial nature of my site update notes, I don't blame you :-P But before you go any further, note that Rawmeat Cowboy has added a few other stories while my story has been posted...

Anyway, so you hate my site banner? Just kidding... judging from a number of feedback sources of, people seem to really like it, especially now that I've cleaned up some of the rough edges. But any regular readers will know that we at GoNintendo love user input and submissions, so we're bringing all of you an opportunity that goes along with some of the other variety to be found only on weekends. If you hadn't already guessed...it's weekend user-made banners! What we'd like to extend is a chance to have your own work inspired by GoNintendo to be featured on the site in a big way as the site banner--for a whole weekend at a time!

It's no surprise when I reveal that our first submission is done by none other than our diligent friend Kirbutashi. So you want to be a design star? Now's your chance to show up Kirbutashi and myself and get your stuff up for the rest of the world to see! While you're welcome to take liberties and experiment with the logo, style, and whatnot (such as Kirbu's playful take). if you need any templates, logos, sizes, specs, or any other questions, stop by our Contact page, and drop me a line... I'd be happy to share stuff with you.

In the meantime, check out our boards, where we have a thread up devoted specifically to special banners. Feel free to post your works of fabulousness there, and get a head start on your rise to fame before it gets posted on the main site!
