Nintendo Wi-Fi router pulls double duty

Here's a bit of interesting news concerning Nintendo's router. This device will support WEP and WPA simultaneously. Not a huge deal, but something worth mentioning. Now, onto the bigger issue...why is Nintendo making this?!
