Tommy Tallarico is a very good friend of mine, which is still an odd thing to say. We have a history going on three years now, and it started out with me not having the best opinion of him. I had mentioned that in a few posts on the site. To my surprise, Mr. Tallarico was actually a fan of GoNintendo. He got in touch with me via email to try and better understand why I felt the way I did, and to offer a chance for me to have my opinion changed. That lead into our first meeting the night before a Video Games Live concert.

Now, I don't think I know any nicer guy in the industry than Tommy. He really does care about everyone he meets, and he goes out of his way to accommodate. One other obvious thing about the man is that he loves the industry, and the music that is brought to it. He is one of the most well-known game composers out there, and he's made it his mission to bring his music, and the music of others to the world. His dedication really is unmatched.

While he is touring non-stop with the VGL show, they can't hit everywhere in the world. That's where Video Games Live: Vol. 1 comes in. You can now grab a CD full of cuts from various VGL shows, and get a little taste of what it's like to experience one of these events. For some impressions of the CD, follow the link below.
