When talking about video games, most princesses are helpless. They wait for their hero to come save them from the clutches of evil. Princess Peach, while she has done some adventuring on her own, has spent much of her life playing the part of Bowser's prisoner. Does this stereotype really bother female gamers? Is it time for the princesses of video games to stop making themselves so easy to kidnap, and start fighting more of their own battles?
