geoffreyMan, it seems like everytime someone tries to preorder a Wii from a major retail chain, issues pop up. It has been awhile since we reported on the Toys "R" Us situation in Australia. A quick recap: $50 down for a Wii at a Toys "R" Us in Australia, you get a free Wii game with purchase. The problem is within the free game. No one knows if you get to choose the game, if Toys "R" Us will choose it for you, or if there is a list to pick from. Apparently store employees are giving customers all the above answers. As of right now, Toys "R" Us officially has no details on the matter of the free game, so anything you have heard thus far is conjecture. Here's to hoping that the situation gets sorted out soon. Huge thanks to Richard from GWN for the heads up.
