December 11, 2008 by The News Team Filed Under: Wii, Nintendo in general

Oh man, get over this stuff! Yet another lawsuit has been filed, this one stating that all three versions of Nintendo's Wiimote wrist straps aren't satisfactory. Further, the complaint claims that Nintendo tried to cover up information from the CPSC that stated that Wiimote straps were failing, and Nintendo was getting calls about broken TVs and so on.

“Despite actual knowledge of hundreds of incidents involving broken televisions over time and subsequent to December 27, 2006. Defendant failed to report the existence of even a single ‘Incident’ to the CPSC in its Monthly Reports to the CPSC.”

You can find the full report here, and make up your mind for yourself. Who knows, maybe Nintendo did try to cover something up.
