Why has Rock Band/Guitar Hero not figured out that fans would go crazy over rocked-up video game themes as DLC?

It's a good point, but I can understand where the publishers are coming from. I would love to grab some DLC of video game music remixes, but getting that stuff together would most likely be a licensing nightmare for Activision or EA. You can be sure that whatever songs are remixed, the company that holds the rights to the original tune will want some kickback from DLC sales.
