UPDATE - I've been in touch with the guys at Ripten about the review issues, and they are working to figure out what happened. On top of that, Demi Adejuyigbe (reviewer) has put up an apology post to best explain the situation. As most of you know, I would never make a post with the intentions of hurting anyone. I'm glad to see that this situation is being handled with care, as well as respect for all readers involved. Check out the apology post here.

I've just gone all over the net to find out if Shawn White Snowboarding: Road Trip has online features. I haven't found anything that points to an online mode. I've also checked my own copy of the game for the WFC logo, and there is none. I haven't had a chance to play the game yet, but after all my searching, I am pretty sure that the Wii version doesn't have online. Furthermore, Amazon includes this tidbit in their info summary.
Play With or Against Your Friends
Road Trip doesn't have online multiplayer options, but you can play both competitively and cooperatively with a friend on a split screen. In competitive mode, you and a friend can race to the bottom or try to out-trick each other for the highest score. In cooperative mode, both of you ride down the same slope, and the scores are added together. The entire game can be played cooperatively, so you and a friend can tour the world together and unlock new extras.
Now, let's take a look at a portion from Ripten's review...
I wish I could put this nicely, but as with the majority of Wii games, the online multiplayer sucks. It’s horrible. I sat there for a straight 30 minutes trying to connect to a game, but I just couldn’t do it, and once I finally got into a game, the connection issues became a huge problem, dropping me from the game and somehow blacklisting that player from connecting with me again. Once I fixed that, I tried to play a single game online, only to have it not keep any record of the match.
Please tell me...am I missing something here? I hope this is a mistake on my part. Thanks to Esa for the heads up!
