Over the weekend, we had a flood of information concerning The Conduit. Between the Nintendo Power feature and High Voltage's presence at Comic-Con, we were hearing tons of multiplayer details. The trend continues into this week with more specific details concerning Friend Codes.

It looks like you'll be able to play random matches with people, but you won't be able to use Wii Speak. If you exchange Friend Codes with another person, then you can talk to them over Wii Speak. You can also join up with that other person and tag along with them into multiplayer matches. That means you can stay with friends while traveling from game to game. While these details aren't 100%, they definitely seem to explain the Friend Code confusion we had over the weekend. Thanks to FreddyFro for the heads up!
