Today kicks off another week of GoNintendo Radio! I can't tell you how much we've enjoyed the response you guys have shown. It's fantastic to see you guys really interested in the show, and participating via the messageboard thread! Hell, even I can't wait to hear each episode! Today's show (posted later today) is the all-request show, which should turn out to be stellar!
GoNintendo Radio is just one more thing to look forward to during the usual weekday happenings at GoNintendo. If those usual happenings are to take place, I'll have to get some sleep...right now! See you guys in a few, short hours. Hope you had a fantastic weekend.
There's one thing that sticks out in my mind when I think of Mondays. Well, I think of two things. First, I frown at the thought of returning to the regular work schedule. Second, I wonder what downloadable games will be hitting the Wii. Between WiiWare and the Virtual Console, there's a lot to consider!
The initial excitement of checking the channel every Monday has pretty much disappeared. Actually, it's transformed from excitement into hope. I now keep my fingers crossed every Monday morning in the hopes of getting some quality content to download. Admittedly, the WiiWare/VC services have had some ups and downs.
Do you find yourself not really interested in Virtual Console/WiiWare releases anymore? I know a lot of people have given up hope on the Virtual Console, as have some for WiiWare. Long stretches of time without great titles to download can definitely dull the excitement.
Then, there are others that have specific titles in mind that they are dying to get their hands on. For instance, I really want to get my hands on Bubble Bobble Plus! I'm also holding out against all hope for TMNT: Turtles in Time and Rocket Knight Adventures to land on the VC. RKA has a shot, but I think licensing will prevent Turtles in Time.
Do you still frequent the Wii Shop Channel in order to pick up these digital releases, or have you decided to stick with brick-and-mortar retail releases only? If so, what could help turn your opinion around?
