Save ability on consoles

Seriously...how much did you hate having to write down 20-character passwords for games? It was absolutely horrendous, and if you screwed up one letter it was all over! Thankfully, hardware developers wised up and spent a little extra cash on methods that allowed us to save games via console. Things went a little downhill with the invention of the memory card, but thankfully we've moved away from that.
