Yesterday we posted up Doug Perry's EDGE article, 'Looking Back at 1996: Nintendo's Fall, Part 1'. If you missed that, you can read the piece right here.

Today, we have a rebuttal from Ryan Scott, former 1up staffer. Mr. Scott makes the point that I quietly thought to myself while reading Perry's article. There were times when Nintendo didn't do so well...but they never, ever did poorly. Even in their worst times they never posted a company loss. How bad can 'bad' be when you're making a profit?
