I get a lot of press releases sent to my email, and I was about to delete this one. For some reason, I clicked through and was caught off-guard by the first paragraph.

The initial installment of Assassin's Creed® was released in November 2007 to popular and critical success, selling 8 million copies worldwide and garnering awards such as Best Action Game 2007 from 1UP and Outstanding Achievement in Animation from the AIAS.

You tell me...should we think that Assassin's Creed 2 is coming to the Wii? It's surely a current-gen platform.
