Earlier last week, we heard some rough estimates for the first-day says of Monster Hunter G Wii, a port of an older Monster Hunter game. Those numbers put the game at around 66,000 units sold, an impressive debut for a port.
Today Enterbrain has come out with official sales numbers for the first day tally in Japan, and it's actually substantially higher than the early estimates. According to Enterbrain, Monster Hunter G Wii moved 92,000 units on its first day out. The Starts Pack which features the special Classic controller sold over 65,000 units, while the stand-alone game did 27,000 units.
