Have you been struggling with Bit.Trip Beat due to the save issue? Well the gang at Gaijin Games are doing their best to provide a solution for the problem. The Japanese and European versions of Bit.Trip Beat don't have this save issue, but the North American version does.
So, as many of you already know, BIT.TRIP BEAT only saves if you get a high score. This has proven to be problematic since BIT.TRIP BEAT is a very difficult game. Reviewers and consumers alike thought this was a brutal design feature, but rest assured, as much as we like to make challenging games, we aren’t quite THAT brutal.
The fact is, we discovered this bug after the US version of the game was in the queue for release. This meant that those of us in the US were stuck with this issue. The Japanese and European versions that came after the US one do not share the same problem.
By way of apologizing and offering our help, we’ve made two save game files available (which I made by unlocking levels 2 & 3 on my retail copy of the game).
If you’re having trouble, you can copy one of these to an SD Card and replace your existing BIT.TRIP BEAT save game on your Wii. These have been fully tested on retail Wii systems and are the real deal. I hope that the message in the high scores for levels 1 & 2 speak for themselves. “SRY, ACM”.
