I was lucky enough to receive quite a big box from our friends at Aspyr today. I had no idea what was going to be inside. When I opened up the Fed-Ex shipping package, I was met with this.

All sorts of goodies to promote the upcoming Treasure World title for DS! I sure hope you've been following our coverage of this game. The coolest feature of Treasure World, for those that don't know, is the way it makes you hunt through the real world to find treasure. You'll need to hunt down Wifi signals in the real world, which translate into in-game treasure for you to collect! The more real-life hunting you do, the more goodies you'll find in-game.

As you can see from the images above, this press kit shipped with stickers, a sell sheet, the game, a tiny art book, a collection of the art/screens we've seen thus far, a stuffed Tiger buddy, and a Wifi locator. This little device lets you know if there are any Wifi signals around via the three indicator lights. This item will not come with the final game.

All excited, I went to open up the game and take it with me for my night off. It was perfect timing...I could go about my Wednesday evening fun, and track down some treasure while I was at it! I ripped open the game box, and found this inside. My heart sunk!

Ooooh Aspyr, how you tease me so! I guess I'll just have to dream of treasure-hunting until then. At least I can live off of the other goodies that were deep inside the treasure box!
