So is the Safari Zone still "closed" in this version?

Why did they reconfirmed some of the info we already knew.

@t27duck

We don't know yet, but Kanto will be there so I see no reason why it shouldn't be.

Oh, and the bit about Arceus has no tie to HG/SS btw... It's just talkin' about the special Arceus those who watch the 12th film can download to their D/P/Pt carts. He's not confirmed to be in HG/SS at all [and why ever would he be]?

@Chosenoneknuckles

In the originals, the Safari Zone was removed because the devs couldn't figure out a way to block off of the tricks, cheats, and glitches from the original map in R/B/Y.

So I'm wondering if they're making a carbon copy map of the original G/S or if they're actually opening it back up.

@t27duck

I'm aware of all that, but considering all the space they have now [which D/P/Pt only used 30% of], then I don't see it being left as an empty husk there, so I believe it'll be there.

OK, FYI, R/B/Y and R/S/E take place at the same time, as G/S/C and D/P/Pt are three years after them. So, it would be possible to see a future Hoenn different then we seen in R/S/E along side the future Kanto.

When R/S/E came out, I was hoping to see Johto in it's past. Well, there's always next generation!

I'm looking forward to this game, though I wish it would include random wifi battles. I expect to be disapointed in this regard.

I hope they really open up Kanto in HeartGold and SoulSilver. In the originals they were pretty half-assed with tons of shortcuts through routes and half of the buildings unaccessible.
