Here's yet another reason for European gamers to get upset. It sounds like a release of Excitebots in Europe may never happen. Nintendo has said that there are no specific plans right now, but they didn't confirm that the game would never see release. Basically, Nintendo reps in Germany are being very quiet on the situation. Let's hope this is just Nintendo holding their cards close, instead of a denied release. Thanks to Valoo for the heads up!

If you're going to do this Nintendo, at least make the console region free...

A lot of you may disagree but I think Excitebots > Disaster: Day of Crisis. Just saying....

@Andy of the Sheikah - Although I've never played Disaster, from what I've heard and read reviews of it, Excitebots is MUCH better than the mediocre Disaster, but like I said, I haven't played D:DoC, so I can't really say what my personal opinion is.

As for Excitebots possibly skipping Europe...low NA sales point to the reason why. Why localize a game that will most likely sell poorly (mostly due to Nintendo's idea of announcing and marketing games within weeks of their release).

And by the way we europeans and you americans are just victims for not getting D:DoC/Excitebots

It was Nintendo's fault, because the advertising was pretty much none and the announcement came out just a few weeks before the hit the stores

Or am i wrong?

@Vigo

You're not wrong at all.

Doesn't stop the annoyance that I might never get to play Excitebots now...

No, it's not for the bad sales number... it's just because here in Europe Mario Kart Wii is selling every single copy like mad. Each couple of weeks shops run out of copies... so maybe ExciteBots is seen as a direct competitor. I think it will see release, but not in the near future... something like Smash Bros, I suppose!
