We knew this was planned, just now when it would launch. Today in Japan, Wii owners can download the 'Catering Channel' to fulfill all their hunger needs.

- Categories: pizza, sushi, bento boxes, Chinese food, Western food, and more
- Pizza Hut and KFC included
- order your meal, and wait for it to be delivered
- coupons are planned for the service
- third party 'Yume no Machi Souzou Iinkai' handles the deliveries

I want it... even though I don't have the Wii near the TV most of the time and can get deliveries with sent by going to there web sites. Still very cool. Hope US and Europe get some additional channels like this at E3!

This.

It's the only fast food place [well known] in the UK here that doesn't offer any sort of service like that.

They should launch this in the US, too. It would be much harder because I'm sure they'd have to work pretty damn hard to get a good number of places in each area to participate, but it would be aweosome. Ordering pizza or chinese take-out right form your Wii on a game break. Sweet!

I doubt it will make the jump over the pond though because it would take a lot more work for NA or Europe than it would for Japan.

And why does Japan get all the good channels? The last channel we got was 18 years ago!
