I want to try out the new Tony Hawk game, that I can admit. I just don't see myself willing to spend $120 on a board that is only going to be supported by one franchise. I don't like skateboarding that much to commit to a purchase like that. I'll try it out...but I think I'll be renting if possible.

I don't want to try it out. It just doesn't seem like it would be something fun to play. That price tag doesn't help either.

Its been like 7 or 8 years since my last tony hawk game. Is the series still a wild arcade style skateboard game? The only impression im getting from looking at this board peripheral is expensive boring real life simulator.

@Popple

Seconded. I played Project 8 on the 360, and couldn't get into it. A huge fake skateboard isn't going to help.

I have no interest on spending that much money on the bundle.

You can always try it at shows like E3, RMC.

like someone on the podcast said, I havent played since Tony Hawk 2 on the N64. I dont know of many people that want to pay 120$ for a skateboarding game.

$120=massive failure

No way this is going to do well at all. If they could get the price around $89, they might have a chance but there is no way that people are going to spend that much for Tony Hawk.
