Alien Hominid appearing in Super Meat Boy

This was part of the IGN Updates last night, but I thought this was worth a mention on its own. Now we have yet another indie character making an appearance in Super Meat Boy. By the time this game hits WiiWare, it's going to be overflowing with indie love!

Man, I'm really getting stoked everytime there's a news update about Super Meat Boy. I wonder what other indie darlings will make it in the WiiWare game. Perhaps Strong Bad? =P

It's a really cool idea to see all these indie characters in one game; I hope Quote makes it in too.

Wasn't a huge fan of the demo for this game online, it was fun for a few seconds then it was just the same thing over and over. But I love what they are doing with this and the addition of the Alien is FANTASTIC! This alone makes me want to get it when it comes out XD.

If a Goo from World of Goo doesnt become a playable character in this game, I am going to be very disappointed.

Awesome. Know we know of Tim from Braid, CommanderVideo from the Bit.Trip series, and now Alien Hominid. What other indie characters could be announced?

Agreed. I'm really hoping the Goo gets their time to shine outside of WoG.
