Miyamoto is possibly one of the least biased people in the industry. His first priority is making sure people have fun playing games.

If I could consider anyone as my idol growing up, it was him and the games he made inspiring me.

am i the only who got two thumbnails for the sony and microsoft?
that was funny because one was a guy with a badly surimposed oversized goldengun with really bad lighting and the other a girl talking to a boy.And those pictures were supposed to represent the pinnacle of hardcore gaming.

oh and newsupermario bros wii is really gorgeous i don't get why nobody mentionned it.

but nintendo should be worried microsoft and sony got the trifecta third parties fullsupport-nintendolike controls-the undying devotion of the hardcore and press

it's like the gamecube days ,well at least their games will keep selling .Like miyamoto used to say the copies will soon flooded the market so much that people won't recognize the originals.

Did he just say that they didn't have 1 to 1?! Is the good sir blinding himself. Sony's wand looked even better than the Motion Plus.

I think you misunderstood it. He is talking about the experience Nintendo gain in developing software for 1-1 motion control.

It's funny when the guy says "New wii remote" instead of "Wii motionPlus"

Wiimote has rumble and speaker to give you feedback on your actions and it has controllers, so you could move your character in addition to waggle!

The best part is how Miyamoto dismisses them while trying to hold back laughter.

I like how they showed donkey kong country ...on the gameboy color ... a game which had (almost) nothing to do with miyamoto when they were talking about donkey kong lol

it's funny how you can always spot the people who don't "really" know what they're talking about in these interviews :)

@D-e-f-

I know! Not only did they show Donkey Kong Country for the GBC (developed by Rare, I believe), they also flashed to Super Mario Land--one of the only Mario games Miyamoto has NOT been involved with! Gunpei Yokoi headed the Mario Lands.
