We've talked about this numerous times already, even on our podcast. Still, if you are unfamiliar with the Vitality Sensor's cousin that appeared on the N64, you might want to check out the article below. The device isn't exactly the same, but the ideas are very similar.

Using hardcore gamer logic, the N64 one was okay since the N64 is not destroying gaming.

I think the Wii sensor looks a lot more comfortable.

@Kirbylol

The Wii isn't either. It´s not Nintendo´s fault that developers are all fat´n lazy and don´t care what the gamers really want.

C'mon dude, quit trying to incite arguments.

Whoa, the N64 one clipped to your earlobe? That's pretty weird...but actually, that would free up both hands, unlike the Wii VS. Interesting... I wonder if it was able to read pulse rate as well.

I think it would be more confortable to have your fingers free for movement so I like the ear thingy better..

But I'm no doctor so if the device can get a better pulse reading from your finger than your ear then it makes more sense.

All I can think is the bio sensor isn't too easy to set up (without information I wouldn't know where to clip it) while the vitality sensor seems impossible to get wrong (unless you put your thumb in it :( )

D-e-f-

at least they came up with this kind of technology on their own. Seems like the other two just cant come up with their own concepts..

Tetris! Now I know why I think of Tetris with the Wii's sensor.

No thanks. I am not getting other accessories like this.. Wii accessories came with the box and Game Cube controller are good enough for me. I think Nintendo of Japan needs to stop make a crap accessories like that and focus on great games and great graphics.

Wow this thing had origins since N64?
Wow.

Just like Miis really had origins 20 years ago on NES!

Interesting...
