We do not condone this act in any way, shape or form. Performing an act like this could cause severe damage, and may result in a trip to the hospital. This is for professionals only. I will not even post the images on the front page, as they are too graphic. Do not click through if you are squeamish.

I am not here to judge the person that did this. I will make no comments about their life or habits. All I will say is that this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hardcore for me.

I'm not going to judge the person either based on something like this, but I have to admit that this is seems a tad bit extreme in terms of "showing how much of a fan you are." I'm not too disturbed by the pictures (some gory things still disturb me though, it's not like movies and games have completely desensitized me), but yeah those who can't stand the sight of blood will probably faint if they saw these.

@ZS

I don't know about cool stuff, but the last time someone did it he ended up cutting his arm up into the crude outline of an NES controller.

There should be a photo of it fully healed. The second photo looks like crap.

I've seen some really beautiful creations made using this type of body modification though. This one is not one of them.

Yikes! He better be using good bandages and some type of cream. You do NOT want to get that infected.

As a side note, this is really no different than a tatoo. Both are forever. The only difference is this is scar tissue and a tatoo is ink.

The worst part is, if you want it to form a proper scar, you have to rub the area with sand and/or salt otherwise you'll get a temporary scar that'll just heal away and disappear.

If this guy was at E3 and needed to show his Nintendo love so Nintendo would let him cut in line for the new Zelda he could bust out his arm and be like look I cut myself for you guys. And then Nintendo would be like "oh" And walk away.

Well at least he didn't have some obscure and long forgotten system controller design etched into his leg. I could only imagine explaining an atari jaguar or commodore 64 design to everyone.

Hoooooly s***. I just threw up in my mouth a little. Seriously man, tattoo, just get a damn tattoo.

"Hey ladies, how are you? What's that? Oh, that's a scarification of a Nintendo controller from 1985.

No, no, it's not a tattoo, it's a permanent scabbed over scar the runs the length of my leg. No, I don't think it's infected.

What I did was cut open my skin with a knife and then I used a knife-like spatual to slice off and peel the layers of skin off from my body, giving me that scarred-up burn victim look.

(looks up)

Ladies, ladies, where'd you go?"

First, that isn't gross at all. Play extremely violent games or games like Metal Gear Solid who don't have a lot of violence, but some pretty disturbing scenes. My dad got 3 of his fingers sliced of and I didn't flinch. Not insensitive or anything, but this stuff just doesn't bother me. But if it was a little puppy, I would cry.*

Second, how utterly, undescribably, pathetic. That's not fan or, even, fanboy. I can't even begin to describe how sad and pathetic that is. It's people like this who don't deserve to live and disgrace their families and friends (on second thought, he probably doesn't have any). These people don't do anything and are just wastes of space.

I don't own any extremely violent games like Gears of War, God of War, Fallout, etc. I do, however, own all the Metal Gears (except the X-Box expansions) out since the first one on PS1. Metal Gear for LIFE!! <3 METAL GEAR

Good luck getting a job that isn't at a tattoo parlor or strip club with that kind of crap on your arm.
