In other words, you can get together with buddies and play some co-op local wifi. You won't be able to hop online and find others to play with. This is old news, but it seems like there are a few people that were still confused.

hmmm i dont like the sound of this, is that not the reason they pushed it back in japan....to fix online bugs? anyways so random >.>
I wonder if they are still going to go through with the DSi exclusive DLC content feature though.
