The Ghostbusters game is fresh on the streets right now, as is the re-release of the film. If you are a Ghostbusters fan, there's no doubt that you're excited. Even better still is the fact that the game really is helping to push forward the idea for a third movie. This talk has been going on for awhile now, but with the game finally out, things are really picking up steam.

I wonder if sales of the game will influence a movie being greenlit...

The Ghostbusters game is an excellent follow-up to the movies, but yes, it isnt quite the third film.

And while Year One looks hilarious,
I think Ramis and Akroyd just need to sit down and write it themselves or else it wont be the same.

From what I understand, Akroyd and Ramis are already writing it.

I hope so. The game is funny and well done.

I hope this validates more GB is a good thing.

Still, after "Kingdom of Crystal Skull", the game made me realize that CG representations of the guys just worked. They stay young as they were, and honestly, I think that's how I want to remember these characters.

Ernie Hudson does not age, though. He's immortal.
