The Ho-Oh footage is exactly why we should have a 3D Pokemon game by now. And not a spin-off or Stadium, a normal RPG. The new artwork is beautiful, and is just another reason we should have one.
Finally, an easy to navigate PokeDex!
I really hope we get the figurines in the USA. I love the Lugia, but want them all!

Thanks. That's what I thought, but it's been a LONG time since I last played Silver, so I didn't want to go with the random impulse. I always enjoy Pokemon, but I've never been a huge fan or anything (i.e. I can identify a Pokemon and its type, but don't ask me to tell you all the moves it learns and at what levels, its ability, etc.).

While I'd love a full 3D Pokémon game I dunno how well that would work on the DS... maybe having 3D models of the Pokémon and a few subtle things like they have been doing with the town structures and stuff is fine.

The 4th generation games of Diamond/Pearl were far too conservative. It is almost a shame that they address that with what is essentially a remake, even if all it means is implementing more large 3D cutscenes and being able to have a Pokemon follow you (like in Yellow).
Looks awesome though, I can't resist the allure of Johto.

Quoted for the truth. I love my copies of Pearl and Platinum, but you can't help feel that all of the stuff in HG/SS could've been in them.
This game is going to be insane! Soul Silver FTW! Lugia is rivaled by awesomeness only by Mewtwo. And that Lugia figure is soooo much better then the Ho-Oh one. If it doesn't come here, I'm gonna be sad (I'd get both of them though). Yeah, and the artwork is absolutely beautiful and the ability for all the PKMN to follow you is sweet!
