Did you see the first Hitman movie? I still haven't seen it, but I hear that it's quite bad. No surprise really, seeing how the rest of video game to movie adaptations go. Still, that didn't stop it from raking in over $100 million at the box office. Add in even more cash from the DVD release, and you have a compelling reason to do a sequel.

It has been confirmed that screenwriter Kyle Ward is penning the script for the second movie, but the sequel is yet to be 100% confirmed. I'm sure we'll hear about the greenlit production in the near future.
